The studio offers a variety of weekly classes and workshops on hand building, wheel throwing, and sculpture.

We propose ongoing 3 hour classes and open studio hours. Students can enroll for as many weeks as they like, but we recommend a 4 week sequence. The purchase of a class gives access to a week of open studio to members.

Wheel Throwing Classes

  • Teapot Workshop: Crafting Unique Teapots with Noa

    Wednesdays from 2/05 - 3/05, 9:30am - 1:30pm; Intermediate/advanced

    Join us on 2/05 for a 5 week, intermediate/advanced immersive teapot workshop where creativity meets craftsmanship! In this hands-on course, you’ll have the opportunity to create four distinct teapots, each expanding on and reflecting your personal style and flair.

  • Intermediate Wheel Throwing

    Mondays 6pm

    Topics will include throwing bigger pieces, exploring complicated forms, creating sets, decoration, and glazing techniques. 

  • Finding Your Way With Clay

    Introduction to beginners to the basics of wheel throwing and offers experienced throwers an environment to deepen their skills.

    This class will build your sculpting skills and creative process. Paper clay is a versatile sculpting material for detail and complex construction. Please purchase Max’s cone 10 paper clay from Marjon ceramics prior to attending.
