33. Terra Sigillata Vase
2024 Porcelain 5.5 x 4
Terra sigillata is a deflocculated porcelain slip. The bottle was thrown, paddled flat, carved, dipped in terra sigillata, primitive fired within a saggar (which holds materials soaked in iron sulfate ) & then makes marks on the surface. It is then fired to cone 06 in our raku kiln.
